New and exciting products in the market give the change of seasons a lift. My picks for the “right now” are something fresh, something sweet, something fizzy, and some unique hydrating beauty products for Spring.
GLOW®
You can’t choose only one when you have this line-up in front of you. Besides, Kylie Jenner and Dak Prescott are ambassadors and equity stakeholders of GLOW® Beverages Inc. Be the first in your squad to introduce these amazing bevies, new to Canada: Spicy Watermelon, Mango Apricot, Ginger Lemon, Cherry Lime, Pineapple Blood Orange, or Tiger’s Blood. Yup. That’s a flavour. These sparkling waters make your eyes light up as they deliver both hydration and an energy boost. With a focus on immune health, they are sourced from top-quality ingredients world-wide. GLOW® offers two distinct product lines: Hydration and Energy, both of which are low-calorie, all-natural, and vegan. Recognizable by their white bottles, GLOW’s hydration products not only deliver the amazing benefits of water but are packed with the essential vitamins, electrolytes and powerful antioxidants that we need. And in the black bottle, GLOW’s Energy line boasts B12 and green coffee bean extract. Love it.
Drinkmate OmniFizz
The OmniFizz Sparkling Water and Soda Maker is the FIRST home carbonation beverage maker that allows users to carbonate ANY BEVERAGE quickly and easily. And that’s all I had to know. I stepped up my beverage game, and began to experiment with water, apple juice and other fruit and vegetable juices, iced tea and iced coffee (and that was a pleasant surprise). I tried it with some left-over Chardonnay. And a tall glass of Vodka and Orange juice was amazing. I shall take this pretty OmniFizz with me on a summer picnic or a Spring road-trip. And it comes in lots of fashion colours.
Purdys
On the business front, Chocolate is becoming more scarce and more expensive. But this hasn’t fazed Purdys, Canada’s own chocolatier, and their delightful Easter treats. Easter Chocolate Boxes, Big Bunnies, foil-covered and candy-covered eggs, Bunnies, Vegan chocolate eggs, cream-filled chocolate eggs, and my favorite, white chocolate Bunnies on a stick, have arrived at our neighbourhood Purdys shop, just in time for our own family’s bunny-hopping Easter Parade.
Beauty Products for “me-time.”
We are all on the lookout for chemical free beauty products that do good without doing harm.
Pure Brazilian
Pure Brazilian Deep Conditioning Masque is like a drink of vitamins and nutrients for your hair! The Masque fortifies the cuticle using Keratin and Cocoa Seed Butter and is enriched with Acai and Arginine to ensure the best nourishment. After a winter of dry heated rooms, it reduces frizz and leaves my hair feeling like satin. It gives radiant shine to every shade, even white, and is color-safe. After my shampoo, I just take a scoop out with my hand, rub it through and leave it alone for twenty minutes. The result is astonishing.
Alpha Skin
Know thine enemy: it is dryness. Dry skin is both aging and itchy. Alpha Skin is here to save the day. For over 30 years, Alpha Skin has been helping customers get healthier skin faster with their products specially formulated with Glycolic Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs). Clinically tested, cruelty free, hypoallergenic, non-irritating, and allergy-tested, the Body Wash and Body Lotion make my skin feel smooth and comfortable all day.
